This
is a study of the economic impacts of irrigated agriculture on
the Canyon County economy and an analysis of the county’s
economic base. It is an update of a previous report completed
in 2002. This study is based on year 2007. The previous study
was based on year 2000. A major conclusion of this study is
that population, economic, and social trends have
continued in Canyon County since the previous report. The
results of this study confirm, refine, and add
robustness to the earlier study. Read
